School Council
Who are they?
The School Council is made up of elected children from Year 2 to Year 6. They represent the views of their classmates and act as ambassadors for St Mary’s School. The council gives pupils a voice within the school community and works closely with teachers and staff to help create a positive learning environment.
What do they do?
The School Council has taken part in a range of activities, including hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning, delivering harvest donations to the local food bank, and selling poppies around the school. During meetings, members share ideas from their classes and help decide on projects and priorities for the school year.
